Halloween Treat Boxes by Pixiebear

If you’re just starting to plan your Halloween party and haven’t read part 1 of this post yet – start here: Halloween Party Ideas for Easy Planning – Part 1

Step 3: Halloween Treats and Favors

You’d probably want to treat your guests with some favors and gifts to thank them for coming to your party. For this you have a couple of great options:

Halloween Treat Boxes:

or favor bags with cute Halloween Tags:

I like to fill them out with chocolate and candies in colors matching the main party theme.

These can also be great to give out to the neighborhood kids coming by Trick-or-Treating!

Here’s another option for Purple and Green Halloween Tags:

Step 4: DIY Halloween Party Decorations

Halloween Party Printables can be used not only for food decoration (see part 1 of this post) but to decorate the entire venue of your party as well. Think about using a matching banner, party signs, pennant flags and all other party decor. Using a themed party package saves you time and helps you tie everything together into a cohesive, beautiful party.

If you have time and are still feeling crafty, there are some great tutorials online on how to make various Halloween party decorations. Here are a few of my favorites, which seem pretty simple to make:

Dryer Vent Fall Pumpkin by ‘You Brew My Tea’
Halloween Shadow Puppets by ‘Ruffles and Rainboots’

You can see more decoration ideas in my Halloween Party Ideas Pinterest board.

With all this party planning and prepping, don’t forget to also get your costume ready! And most importantly – have fun at your Halloween party!

  • Love this post!!
That bunting and cupcake toppers are amazing!

  • Thanks so much for linking up our little puppets. It’s so funny, but we actually just pulled them out tonight and had our first “boo-inspired” shadow puppet story time. 🙂

Your products are so great that I wish I wasn’t committed to a party already, just so I could use them. Is that weird!?!

    • You’re most welcome Sarah, your shadow puppets are so cute! 🙂
I’m glad you like my designs, thank you so much!
And I don’t think it’s weird, sometimes you find so many great ideas online you wish you had more parties just so you could use all of them :))

    • Thank so much Trisha! Would love to see photos of your party! 🙂

  • This looks absolutely amazing! Pinned and tweeted. You always bring the most amazing creations to our party. Thank you! I hope to see you again, this Monday at 7 pm. It wouldn’t be a party without you! Lou Lou Girls
