I hope you’re having a lovely summer and enjoying the holiday with your kids. Over here it is already very hot, and we spend most of our days indoors using the air conditioner, with an occasional pop to the nearest swimming pool or beach. We also have a small inflatable pool in our porch, which my little boy loves to play in 🙂
Below are some photos of a summer party I did for my sister a few years ago. She was coming home after spending time in very cold weather in another country, and was looking forward to being in warm weather again. If you’re on the other side of the planet right now, you can probably relate!
I wrote about some of the design and food ideas I used for this party in a previous post. In it you can also find links to recipes for the cool looking (and easy-to-make!) Ombre Drinks and the Palm Tree Fruit Salad. The printables for this party come in two color schemes (this is the pink-coral girly version, there is a blue-aqua version for boys as well) can be found here.
Wherever you are – warm or cold, I hope you have a wonderful day!
Today I’m happy to share with you a useful tool I created which will make your party planning easier and more efficient: The Party Checklist!
This printable checklist will help you to think of the many details that compile a wonderful party. Going over the list you might find some things that you haven’t thought of or you might be reminded of things you forgot. The list is built as a suggested timeline, so that you can have everything ready on time and not leave important things to the last minute. It covers all the components of a good party: food, decor, game and guests!
If you’re a subscriber of the Pixiebear Newsletter look for the download link in the coming email you’ll receive from me. If you’re not yet subscribed you can do so here, and grab your free copy!
I’d love to hear what you think of ‘The Party Checklist’ and if you found it helpful. Please let me know in the comments below.
Please Note: ‘The Party Checklist’ is a free download given to all my subscribers, new and former. It is for personal use and is not to be distributed, copied, shared or sold in any form – digital or physical. If you know of someone who might find it useful please direct them to this subscription form, where they can sign up to download their own free copy. I would appreciate it a lot! Thank you!
I recently added a new category to the Pixiebear printables shop: Baby Shower packages & invitations. I’ve been thinking about adding these kind of printables for a long time. I guess what finally got me to do it was having a baby boy of my own a few months ago 🙂
So far I added a Basketball themed baby shower set in 3 color options: orange, baby blue and pink. I plan to add more themes throughout the year, you can follow along on my blog or in the coming newsletters.
If you have ideas for themes or you’d like a custom theme designed for you, please contact me or let me know/in the comment below. I’ d love to hear your ideas!
